Our story
It started with a tip jar.
It started with a tip jar.
During the uncertainty of the COVID shutdown, Lisa saved every dollar she earned as a beverage-cart server at a local golf course. After a little over a year, the jar held more than $10,000. It was the family’s entire life savings.
We took a leap of faith.
Dean and Lisa used those savings to buy their first van, equipment and supplies. There were no investors or wealthy backers. They learned the work firsthand, built the business home by home and kept refining the service around what homeowners actually needed.
Six years later, that leap of faith has grown into a multi-million-dollar family business. We’ve been honored to help thousands of families throughout the Puget Sound with mold and indoor air quality concerns, fulfilling the very mission we set out to accomplish.
Now, we’re preparing to embark on our next chapter.
PUR-HOME carries that family operating experience into a prevention-focused model for Texas. The goal is to help homeowners think about indoor air, humidity, environmental visibility and ongoing care as parts of one connected home environment.
The mission hasn’t changed - only grown.
That family business became the operating foundation for PUR-HOME, with the same emphasis on hands-on service, practical solutions and staying involved after the initial visit.
A family business,
still doing the work one home at a time.
